38.1 V Single Random Pendant by Bocci

There’s a reason 38 is the BOCCI glassblowers’ favourite light to make. It takes techniques first used for the 28 series to the extreme. 38’s main clear-glass globe is larger (up to 10 inches in diameter) and houses even more "controlled implosions,” set off by vacuums created within the main globe.

Each 38 contains two or three light sources.
Because of the nature of the fabrication process, the shape and composition of each 38 is completely unique.

Blown glass, braided metal coaxial cable, electrical components and a brushed nickel canopy.
