The seat shells of HAY's hugely popular 'About A' Stool collection are now made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic in a harmonious new palette of colours.
This change, along with the FSC-certified wooden bases, and water-based lacquers, mean that these chairs and stools are EU Ecolabelled as a sign of environmental commitment.
Footrests are available in either black powder coated steel or stainless steel.
Seat Pads are available separately here, and felt gliders for hardwood floors are available here.
*Note the Low 65cm model is suitable for most kitchen counters. High 75cm model is more suitable for standard 'true' bar height tables.

Materials
Injection moulded solid-coloured polypropylene seat. Made from 100% post- consumer recycled PP. Moulded plywood base. Inner plywood in beech, top veneer in oak or walnut. Stainless Steel Footrest as standard.
Please note: the use of recycled material means that colours vary slightly from batch to batch. Marks and irregularities in the material are a natural part of the material and may occur.
