Archer Cantilever Chair by Magnus Long for SCP

A generously proportioned cantilever chair made from tubular steel, with a plywood seat and backrest. Archer respectfully references the tubular steel chairs first produced a century ago, while featuring a number of details that make it resolutely modern.

The use of semicircular forms in the foot, seat and backrest, which creates three aligned arcs when looking from above, gives the design a unified and elegant look.
