PH 5/5 Pendant by Louis Poulsen

Poul Henningsen designed hundreds of lamps based on the three-shade-system he developed in 1926.
The PH 5/5 is described as a ‘whole’ sized pendant, with the top shade of approximately 50 cm corresponding with the middle and lower shade in the proportions of 3:2:1.
The ‘whole’ sized fixtures are designed to be particularly glare-free and are therefore ideally placed high in a room where it integrates great quality lighting with cosy ambience.

PH 5/5 comes with all metal shades (producing primarily downward-directed light) or a combination of metal top shade and glass middle and lower shades to create a warm glow around the pendant too.
A frosted glass diffuser to ensure even light distribution is included, but use of this element is optional.

Black / Opal Glass - Top shade in soft touch black painted aluminium with white inner side. Middle and lower shades in mouth-blown white opal three layer glass.
