Floor panels are available in three heights - 85 cm, 115 cm, 200 cm and one depth, 30 cm. The panels are the foundation of your string shelf - when the panels are decided you can start adding products with 30 cm depth from String® System. 
The new Dark Oak and Dark Brown series for 2026 uses 100% FSC-certified wood, recycled steel, and water-based lacquer to bring extra gravitas and warmth.  

*Note Floor standing panels allow a maximum skirting board gap of 13cm. (See drawing). To lift the floor side panel to clear skirting boards, you can purchase these extension feet to gain a further 4cm clearance.

Floor panels can be used with String wood or metal components. The front foot rests on the ground making them easy to install. They can be attached to all wall types, and multiple wall and floor panels can be linked vertically.
