String® is the original component shelving system - lightweight yet stable. Let your creativity flow and build your own unique storage.
The new Dark Oak and Dark Brown series for 2026 uses 100% FSC-certified wood, recycled steel, and water-based lacquer to bring extra gravitas and warmth. 

String Shelves are easy to move around - when additional space is needed, you can just add more. Create a monochrome shelf or mix shelves in different colours and types of wood. Each packaging contains three shelves and steel brackets.

The shelves comes in two widths, 58 and 78 cm, and two depths, 20 and 30 cm.

Details

Materials
Clear lacquered Ash, Oak, Walnut or black-stained Ash veneer with a nicely finished edge.
Gloss lacquered White, Grey or Beige colour.
Particleboard structure.
The included hanging clips are offset allowing shelves to be arranged side by side on the same level if desired.

Recommended maximum load (spread evenly across the shelf)
20kg on 58cm wide shelves
15kg on 78cm wide shelves
